Dumpling Festival in Vipiteno

The Vipiteno Dumpling Festival is one of the culinary highlights of the year. Around the Zwölferturm, the historic old town transforms into a large culinary mile. Numerous dumpling specialties – from classic bacon and cheese dumplings to creative and sweet variations – invite you to taste them. The festival weekend already begins on the eve with another highlight: The traditional Oktoberfest in Wiesen takes place in the Wiesen Festival Hall (Pfitsch municipality). It is organized annually by the AHC Blue Kings and attracts with traditional brass music, regional specialties, exuberant atmosphere, and numerous visitors in dirndls and lederhosen.
